The 16th International Symposium "Stochastic Analysis on Large Scale Interacting Systems" aims at studying Interacting Particle Systems, Hydrodynamic Limits, Stochastic PDEs, and all related problems. A brief history of the symposium can be found here.
■ Access to the University of Tokyo (Komaba campus)
We ask participants (except foreign invited speakers) to book hotels by themselves. November is a high season and it is advisable to make early reservations. The department of mathematical science, the University of Tokyo, is located near Shibuya, one of the biggest town in Tokyo. It takes about 20 minutes on foot from central Shibuya (unfortunately it is not very simple). The closest railway station is Komaba Todai-mae which is located almost inside the university campus. It takes about 3 minutes from Shibuya to Komaba Todai-mae station (Keio Inokashira line, 130 yen). We recommend to book a hotel near the university, for example, Komaba, Shibuya, Shinjuku (the biggest town, 10minutes from Shibuya), or around Yamanote zone, or along Keio Inokashira line (Kichijoji is also a good choice, it takes 18 minutes). CAUTION: The main campus of the University of Tokyo places at Hongo. Math department is NOT THERE.
