TeXShop scripts for platex + dvipdfmx and ptex + dvipdfmx to typeset LaTeX/TeX source coded in UTF-8, should be placed in the folder /usr/local/bin/ to use as the "personal scripts".
Please read also the following three.
- Turn off "utf package support" at "preferences/details"of TeXShop.
- Scripts use the unix kanji code transfer command nkf and Kakuto's utf8toutf. They are Mac OS X intel binary, which must be put at /usr/local/bin.
- The sources of nkf and utf8toutf can be found at SorceForge nkf or ring utf8toutf.zip.
On the other hand, TeXShop scripts for platex + dvipdf and ptex + dvipdf to typeset LaTeX/TeX source coded in UTF-8, should be placed in the folder /usr/local/texlive/2007/bin/i386-darwin (when it is an Intel Mac) or /usr/local/texlive/2007/bin/powerpc-darwin (when it is a PPC Mac) to use as the "latex/tex" commands by setting path to the folder in "preferences/internal setting".
Using mathfontspec package instead of fontspec package, we can obtain outputs of special math symbols. However, mathfontspec package is not for other purposes. Be carefull!
