講演題目: 水素安全利用に向けた漏洩水素拡散予測に関する研究

講演概要:
Numerical simulation of hydrogen dispersion in a partially open space is performed. The transient behavior of hydrogen and the process of accumulation in the space are discussed. The effects on the hydrogen concentration distribution of changing the vent positions, vent conditions and surrounding atmospheric currents are also shown. In addition, the positioning of hydrogen sensors in the wall-normal direction near the ceiling of the space is investigated. Based on the results, we discuss the conditions for preventing the dispersion and accumulation of hydrogen in the space, and the importance of taking into consideration the relationship with the outside environment from a standpoint of predicting hazard augmentation. Regarding the positioning of sensors it is shown that there is a layer near the ceiling wall where the sensors can get the characteristics of the local minima and local maxima of the time histories of hydrogen concentration that are expected to give important information for the detection and control of global hydrogen dispersion in a partially open space.
